Tithing Is Our Foundation Of Giving
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.

Give With Card or Cash
When joining us for a Sunday service, you can give physically with a Debit or Credit Card at the Information Bar. Or you can give by putting Cash or Cheque in a giving envelope and drop them in the designating offering boxes in the Sanctuary.
Relief and Restoration
Allowing God to work in us is only half of the equation. God wants to work through us to bring hope, healing and transformation to people all across our city and region.
15% of everything given at Mountain Park goes directly to other organizations who specialize in relief and restoration, as well as directly to people every week who need help with things like buying groceries and getting gas.
People and Places
Allowing God to work in and through us is our mission at MountainPark. Whether it is a volunteer, staff member, someone who attends our services or the kids we lead every week – we invest in the people and places that allow God to work in and through us. When we have strong staff and volunteers and building environments that people love to be in we create gathering points where people can allow God to work in and through them.

Giving FAQ
Ever wonder what people mean when they talk about tithing on gross or net income? The most common view is that gross earnings are the amount of God’s provision, and the tithe should be based on one-tenth of God’s provision. Taxes are generally considered payment for the privileges and services provided by the government. Though scripture doesn’t necessarily use the literal terms “net” or “gross,” it is important to note that the spirit in which we give is of greatest value to God. He tells us in II Corinthians 9 that “each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
Used within the parameters for which they were originally created, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a credit or debit card to tithe. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.
Every dollar given to Mountain Park is used to support the global mission of Mountain Park; therefore, gifts cannot be restricted for use by a specific cause or ministry. When you give an offering above your tithe, you do have the option of choosing from the listed causes.
Cash contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31 to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by December 31.
