We have a tendency to drift… to forget… to let our hearts be captivated by many things. God keeps calling us back throughout scripture to choose an intentional life with Him. In this final sermon in our Counter-Formed series, Pastor Brenda talks about creating a Rule of Life around all of the spiritual disciplines we have talked about in the previous weeks.

We know something isn’t working but we are stuck, bombarded and overwhelmed and what we’ve been trying isn’t working. Why? Because the root of our battle is spiritual, not social, governmental, relational or physical. We won’t experience God’s vision of the good life for us until we learn to fight in the spiritual. The practice of biblical confession counter-forms us in a world full of curated identity.
